IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH Criminal Misc.No.M-23348 of 2015 Date of Decision: August 24, 2015 Jinder Kaur
...Petitioner
Versus
State of Punjab
...Respondent
CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE NARESH KUMAR SANGHI
Present:
Mr.Himanshu Puri, Advocate, for the petitioner.
Mr.K.S.Pannu, DAG, Punjab.
Naresh Kumar Sanghi, J.(Oral) The report from learned trial court has been received in CRM-M-12563 of 2015, the petition for bail by Phuman Singh, a co-accused of the petitioner.
In view of the detailed report by learned trial court, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition at this stage and prays for withdrawal of the same. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to the above-said prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner. Dismissed as withdrawn.
In view of the fact that the petitioner is a woman and languishing in jail since 29.10.2012, it is expected that learned trial court would make every endeavour to complete the trial at the earliest.
