This is a petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 112 dated 09.11.2013 under sections 306/302 IPC at Police Station Bajakhana district Faridkot.
Complainant alleged that petitioner alongwith co-accused Gurnam Singh and Veerpal Kaur sprinkled diesel on Jaskaran Singh and set him ablaze. Due to injuries suffered by him, Jaskaran Singh died. Name of the petitioner appeared in the initial version of the complainant and was reiterated when he appeared as PW-1. It appears that no case for releasing he petitioner on bail is made out. However, counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition at this stage. Dismissed as withdrawn.
