The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondent No.3 to provide adequate/requisite medical treatment to the husband of the petitioner namely Shinder Singh @ Peter confined in District Jail Hoshiarpur in FIR No.8 dated 14.02.2011 registered under Section 15 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Sadar Budhlada. 2.

Notice of motion was issued on 08.04.2022. Pursuant thereto medical treatment report by way of short affidavit of Anurag Kumar Azad, PPS, Superintendent, Central Jail Hoshiarpur has been filed today in the Court. Same is taken on record. Learned State counsel makes a reference to the medical report, which reads thus:- "It is requested that convict Shinder Singh @ Petter S/o Santa Singh R/o Boota Dia chana PS Mehatpur Dist Jalandhar is a known case of Right inguinal hernia and Portal CavernomaHe is given medical treatment for the same from time to time. He was referred to Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur on SANDAL SHARMA 2023.05.05 18:28 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-15102-2022 (O&M) N.C. No.2023:PHHC:063678 - 2Dated 02.05.2023 for follow up with surgical specialist. He was advised CECT abdomen to decide further course of management. Patient is under stable condition with no fresh complaint."

In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such.
