HARPREET SINGH BRAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents No.5 and 6 to make the payment of salary and retiral benefits of deceased husband of the petitioner along with interest @ 18% per annum from the due date till its actual payment.

Learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to invoke alternative appropriate remedy on the same cause of action, as available to him, in accordance with law.
