On 24.03.2023, the following order was passed: "Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the application which was filed by him for issuance of passport has not been finalized by the respondent-Passport Authorities on the ground that there was one FIR No.93 dated 21.04.1997 under Excise Act in which the learned Magistrate has only imposed fine of Rs. 250/- and that too in the year 1997 and that cannot become a ground for denial of passport to the petitioner.

Notice of motion.

Ms. Amrita Singh, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and prays for some time to seek instructions in this regard.
