**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 31 dated 02.05.2016 under Sections 363, 366-A IPC and Section 376 IPC added later on, registered at Police Station, Sadar Gurdaspur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the matter has been been compromised between the parties.

While issuing notice of motion, this Court stayed the arrest of the petitioner. However, by order dated 16.01.2018, this Court was pleased to direct the trial Court to get recorded the statements of the parties regarding genuineness of the compromise. In pursuance thereto, a report has been received from the Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gurdaspur, that the parties have compromised the matter and the same is without any pressure or threat.
