IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT

CHANDIGARH (203) RSA-2699-1995 Date of Decision:-13.11.2025 Sardar Khan ......Appellant

Versus

Mohammad Rafiq and Others ......Respondents

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL ****

Present:

None for the appellant.

**** AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL, J. (Oral) 1.

As per report of the Registry, the notice issued to the sole appellant has been received back with the report that he has expired. 2.

A perusal of the case file reveals that on the last date of hearing, i.e. 15.10.2024, learned counsel for the appellant had submitted that he had no instructions in the matter from the appellant. However, today, there is no representation on behalf of the appellant. It, therefore, appears that the appellant is not interested in pursuing the present appeal. 3.

Accordingly, the present appeal is dismissed in default for want of prosecution.

4.

However, liberty is granted to the appellant to seek revival of the appeal, in case anything worthwhile survives for consideration. 5.

Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of. (AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL) JUDGE 13.11.2025 Shubham Whether speaking/reasoned:- Yes/No Whether Reportable:- Yes/No SHUBHAM 2025.11.14 16:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/order
