 %& Report dated 04.08.2015 of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Gurdaspur has been received whereby after recording statements of complainant Jaswinder Kaur and the accused persons namely Kabal Singh, Atinder Pal Singh @ Sodhi, Amarinder Pal Singh @ Maninder Pal Singh, Kulwinder Kaur, Manmeet Kaur, Sarabjit Singh and Harjinder Singh, the Court has shown its satisfaction that the compromise has been arrived at voluntarily, out of free will of the parties, without any undue influence, coercion or pressure.    application for impleadment, which has been allowed by way of a separate order of even date and he has been impleaded as respondent No.3. Mr.G.S. Rawat, Advocate has filed a duly sworn affidavit on behalf of the newly added respondent No.3 Kewal Singh submitting that he has no objection in case the present petition is allowed and the FIR in question is quashed on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties.

Heard.

In the light of the satisfaction shown by the Court and the affidavit sworn by respondent No.3 Kewal Singh, the fact that parties belong to the same very village and the offences for which the accused have been hauled up are not of serious nature, together with the fact that compromise will go a long way in ironing out differences for betterment of future life of the parties and in view of the law laid down in '()*%(*+,-%.)./ 0*1)2)*3)*.,/4#

&the prayer made in the petition is allowed, proceedings by way of FIR No.8 dated 17.02.2014 registered at Police Station Ghuman Kalan, District Gurdaspur 452/295/324/323/427/379/148/149/326 IPC (Annexure P1) and all consequences arising out of the said FIR are quashed. The petition stands allowed in those terms.
