Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 18.11.2021 (P-8) whereby transfer of the petitioner from ESI Dispensary, Patiala to Mata Kaushalya Hospital, Patiala, was cancelled within 17 days of his joining. Learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his client would be satisfied in case the legal notice dated 09.01.2022 (P-12) is decided expeditiously.

Ms. Maloo Chahal, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 5, and raises no objection against the innocuous prayer of the petitioner. In view of the agreed stand taken by both sides, but without going into the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed off with SANJAY GUPTA 2022.04.18 17:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document -1-

CWP No.7684 of 2022 direction to respondent No.2-Director, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Punjab, to consider and decide the legal notice dated 09.01.2022 (P-12) as per law by passing a reasoned order within a period of 02 (two) weeks from the receipt of certified copy of this order. Needless to say that in case there is a failure on the part of competent authority, petitioner would be at liberty to move an appropriate application for revival of this writ petition and the same shall be considered in accordance with law.
