******* ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.246 dated 18.10.2014 under Sections 420, 392, 467, 468, 471, 472 IPC and Sections 25/27/54/59 of Arms Act, registered at Police Station City, District Faridkot.
On 01.06.2018, following order was passed by this Court: - "Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was earlier granted regular bail by this Court on 28.08.2015 and thereafter, the petitioner was regular appearing before the trial Court, however, on 16.09.2017, the petitioner, on account of his ill-health, could not attend the Court proceedings and his bail/surety bonds were forfeited. Counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is ready to appear before the trial Court and apply for fresh bail.

In the meantime, petitioner is directed to appear before the trial Court within a period 10 days from today and the trial Court will release the petitioner on interim bail subject to furnishing his fresh bail/surety bonds and on payment of costs of Rs.5,000/- to be deposited with the District Legal Services Authority, Faridkot." Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sukhwinder Singh, submits that the petitioner has already surrendered before the trial Court and he has been released on interim bail and has deposited the costs of Rs.5,000/-.
In view of the above, this petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 01.06.2018 passed by this Court is made absolute.
