DEEPAK GUPTA , J.(Oral) On 08.04.2022, the following order was passed by this Court:- "Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in criminal case having FIR No.28 dated 26.2.2022 registered under Sections 380, 427, 447, 457, 34 IPC at Police Station Mataur, District SAS Nagar. Counsel for the petitioner contended that actually there is a dispute between the landlord and tenant with regard to 3rd floor of showroom in question which is owned by the petitioner. He further submitted that the alleged incident took place on the night intervening 12/13.2.2022 whereas the matter was reported to the police on 26.2.2022. Notice of motion. Mr. M.S.Nagra, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State of Punjab and prays for time to seek instructions as to why there was delay in lodging of FIR. Now be listed on 2.9.2022.
In the meantime, in case of arrest, the petitioner is directed to be released on interim bail by the IO/Arresting Officer to his own satisfaction till the next date of hearing. The petitioner should join the investigation with the police well in time before the next date of hearing and is to abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) of Cr.P.C.
Today, on instructions from ASI Devender Singh, learned State counsel has informed this Court that the petitioner has joined the investigation, in compliance of the order dated 08.04.2022 and is no longer required for further investigation.

CRM-M-14946-2022 - 2 - In view of the aforesaid, the order dated 08.04.2022, whereby the petitioner was granted interim anticipatory bail, is hereby made absolute. However, he shall continue to join investigation, if and so required by the Investigating Officer.
