   free will of the parties, without any undue influence, coercion or pressure. It has been further brought to the notice of this Court that the present FIR was registered against 17 persons out of whom four persons namely Pushpinder Singh, Sarwan Kumar, Sher Singh and Avtar Singh have died and proceedings qua them already stand abated.

Heard.

In the light of the satisfaction shown by the Court, the fact that parties belong to the same very village and the offences for which the accused has been hauled up are not of serious nature, together with the fact that compromise will go a long way in ironing out differences for betterment of future life of the parties and in view of the law laid down in &'() "')*+ , "-(-.   /)0(1 ()2 ()-+.3

# the prayer made in the petition is allowed, proceedings by way of FIR No.251 dated 24.06.1999 registered at Police Station Sadar Ludhiana under Sections 447/336/506/427/148/149 IPC and Section 25/54/59 if the Arms Act and all consequences arising out of the said FIR qua the present petitioners are quashed.

The petition stands allowed in those terms.
