Ashok Kumar Sah v. State Of Haryana And Another
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH ***** CWP No.6505 of 2024 Date of Decision : 19.3.2024 Ashok Kumar Sah ..... Petitioner versus State of Haryana and another ..... Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA Present: Mr. Ravinder Kaushik, Advocate, for the petitioner --- TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA J. (ORAL): The grievance raised in the instant petition is that the petitioner's Ph.D. degree in Medical Laboratory Technology awarded to him in 2019, will not be considered relevant to exempt him from clearing National Eligibility Test (for short 'NET') in terms of UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016, for the post of Skill Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technology.
2.
It is not disputed that the petitioner's application for the post in question has been duly accepted, and so far he has not been declared ineligible on account of not clearing NET. Apparently, the petition has been filed only on apprehension which does not give rise to any cause of action. Therefore, there is no ground to entertain the petition at this stage. 3.
