**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) This Court was pleased to pass the following order on 10.07.2017 :- "This petition has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.127 dated 05.05.2017, under Sections 498-A, 406, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station City Kapurthala.
It is contended that the said FIR has been registered against husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law of the complainant, in which, anticipatory bail has been granted to Paramjit Singh father-in-law, Kanwaljit Kaur mother-in-law and Balwinder Singh brother-in-law and after the grant of bail, the said accused have joined the investigation.

At this stage, Mr. Vikram Anand, Advocate, puts in appearance on behalf of complainant, on his own and files the memo of appearance, which is taken on record. A statement has been made that the father-in-law and mother-in-law have not joined the investigation. CRM-M-23692-2017 -2received, it is submitted that only the brother-in-law i.e. Balwinder Singh has joined the investigation and that too on 04.07.2017, after a gap of three weeks of the passing of the anticipatory bail order.
Learned counsel for the petitioner urges that the matter should be referred to mediation and that the petitioner is ready to settle the disputes amicably.
In the interest of justice, let the parties be present before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court on 26.07.2017. A sum of Rs. 22,000/- be paid to the complainant before the mediator towards the litigation expenses. Meanwhile, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C." Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the complainant submits that the parties have settled the dispute amicably in the mediation. A settlement/agreement dated 07.11.2017 has been reduced into writing.
In view of the fact that the parties have settled their dispute amicably, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 10.07.2017 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
