Mr. Aditya Partap Singh, Advocate, for the petitioner. GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J. (Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus seeking release of detenues, whose names are mentioned in Para No.2 of the petition, who are stated to be illegally detained by respondents No.4 & 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has, however, restricted his prayer to the extent of issuance of direction to respondent No.2 - District Magistrate, Ludhiana.

In view of the above submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with a direction to District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana to look into the matter in accordance with law keeping in view the provisions of Sections 10 and 12 of the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976.
