Criminal Misc. No. M-23712 of 2017 (O&M) Notice of motion was issued in the case on 10.07.2017 and thereafter, it has been adjourned on various dates. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Kulwant Singh submits that the present petition has become infructuous as petitioner No.1 has been arrested and has also been released on regular bail. Petitioner No.2 is in custody.

Learned senior counsel for the petitioner is asking for grant of blanket bail whereas there was no FIR at the time of filing the petition. Learned senior counsel submits that he is not asking for grant of anticipatory bail in any particular case as only on the basis of apprehension, he has filed the present petition.

The matter is lingering on for the last more than one year and blanket bail cannot be granted.

Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.

However, the petitioners are at liberty to file petition for grant of anticipatory bail in case, any case is registered against them. 06.08.2018 (DAYA CHAUDHARY) neetu JUDGE Whether speaking/reasoned Yes Whether Reportable No NEETU RANI 2018.08.08 10:35 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
