***** RAJAN GUPTA , J. (Oral) This is a petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail to the petitioner in a case registered against him vide FIR No.6 dated 27.01.2015 under Sections 409, 420, 467, 465, 468, 471 and 120-b IPC at Police Station Nurmahal, District Jalandhar.

Vide order dated 19.12.2016, petitioner was granted the concession of interim bail. As per the prosecution, trial is proceeding at a normal pace and petitioner is regularly appearing before the court below. In view of the above, interim bail granted vide order dated 19.12.2016 is made absolute. Present petition is allowed. On a query being put to Mr. Thethi, whether the Education Department has examined the fact as to how grant of Rs.50 lacs was granted to a Secondary School, he submits that the matter shall be examined by the Additional Chief Secretary, Education, Punjab, and a report shall be submitted in the registry within two months.
