Mr. K.S. Siwach, Advocate for the petitioner. **** HARKESH MANUJA, J. (Oral) By way of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayer has been made for directing the official respondents to protect life and liberty of the petitioner and not harass them at the instance of private respondents in relation of FIR No.25 dated 16.05.2023 and FIR No.26 dated 16.05.2023 both registered under Section 420 IPC at Police Station Sadar Budhlada, District Mansa, Punjab.

Upon advance notice, Mr. Athar Ahmed, DAG, Punjab appears on behalf of the official respondents/State and informs that so far as the petitioner is concerned, he is not required in aforementioned two FIRs and in case at any subsequent stage, if need be, the official respondents shall comply with all the mandatory provisions of Code of Criminal Procedure including Section 41-A of the Code.

In view of aforesaid statement made by learned State counsel, no further direction is required to be passed in the present case. The same is disposed of accordingly.
