*** F.I.R. No. 97 dated 16.7.2017 for offences under Sections 419/420/170 IPC was registered at Police Station Rohon, District S.B.S. Nagar at the instance of petitioner Harjinder Singh. As per status report filed by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Nawanshshar, District S.B.S. Nagar, Punjab, the matter was investigated and the cancellation report was prepared and filed before the Ilaqa Magistrate. However, the Ilaqa Magistrate did not agree with the police investigation and directed further investigation vide order dated 25.7.2018. CRM-M-24678 of 2018 Chief Judicial Magistrate, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar on 6.9.2019. It being so, the petitioner has got remedy to appear before learned Ilaqa Magistrate by moving an appropriate application/petition in accordance with law.

Therefore, no further action in the matter is called for. The petition stands dismissed accordingly.
