This is a petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.0033 dated 18.04.2020 under Sections 21 & 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and Sections 188 and 269 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Dharamgarh, District Sangrur. Vide order dated 15.06.2020, this Court had granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Ms. Samina Dhir, DAG, Punjab, on instructions from SI Sarabjot Singh, has stated that the petitioner has since joined the investigation.
In view of the above, the order dated 15.06.2020 is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall come present as and when called for. The petitioner shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
