**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J (ORAL) Through the instant petition, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 34 dated 25.4.2016, registered under Sections 366, 376, 342, 506, 34 IPC, Police Station Sadar Bathinda, District Bathinda.

Counsel for the petitioner contends that prosecutrix is major and she had stayed with the petitioner for about two months and it was a relationship which was consensual and later on under the threat the girl has made a statement against the petitioner. Counsel urges that the girl had appeared before the Magistrate and had made allegations against her father. He refers to Annexure P-1.

The complainant side has appeared and has urged that the girl was a student and was immature and came under the influence of the Gurpreet Singh Bhatia 2016.08.12 16:42 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh

Crl. Misc. No. M-24733 of 2016 -2petitioner who was a married man and the petitioner enticed her when she got down from the bus and she was kept concealed for two months and she had also made a statement before the Magistrate. It was urged that the girl had attempted to commit suicide and had consumed poison. He has placed on record the OPD Card. Counsel urges that the wife of the petitioner had lodged a report that her husband had run away with an unmarried girl. The allegations are serious, no case for anticipatory bail is made out.

Petition is dismissed.
