**** Sandeep Moudgil, J.(Oral) This writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to the respondents to step up the basic pay of the petitioner from Rs.49,000/- per month to Rs.50,500/- per month to make it at par with basic pay drawn by his juniors. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied, in case a direction is issued to respondent No.3 to consider the legal notice dated 26.10.2025(Annexure P-7) within a time bound manner. 3.

In view of the above, and without adverting to the merits of the case, the respondent No.4- Commandant, 33 Bn. CRPF, Preetnagar, Jammu is directed to consider and decide the legal notice dated 26.10.2025 (Annexure P-7) after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, by passing a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

A copy of order so passed be supplied to the petitioner within seven days thereafter.
