In this Writ Petition, the petitioners have challenged the policy for recruitment to Group-C and D posts through Common Eligibility Test, 2022 on the ground that in clause 7(v) thereof, requirement of obtaining minimum 50% marks in the said test is prescribed which is a high cut off, depriving persons like the petitioners from a chance to get appointed to Group-C posts, though they possess technical qualifications of ITI Diploma in different trades.

However, it is open to the petitioners to make a representation to respondent No.1 about their grievances within 4 weeks, and on receipt of the same, respondent No.1 shall take an appropriate decision and communicate it to the petitioners within 4 weeks thereafter.
