IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA AT
CHANDIGARH CRM M-23856 of 2015 Date of decision : 23.07.2015 Pawan Pankaj ....Petitioner V/s State of Haryana ....Respondent BEFORE : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA
Present:
Mr. Charanji Lal, Advocate for the petitioner. RAJAN GUPTA J.
Petitioner seeks concession of pre-arrest bail in a case registered against him under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC vide FIR No. 44 dated 09.02.2015at Police Station Sector- 5, Panchkula. Allegations against the petitioner is that he forged pharmacy diploma certificate which pertain to other person namely Dharmender Kumar. He produced this forged certificate alongwith other fake certificate of 10+2 examination and succeeded in obtaining a pharmacy license from Haryana Pharmacy Council against registration No. 19954. On the basis of anonymous complaint received in the office of Chief Minister, Haryana, investigation was conducted. Matter was probed. Finding element of truth in the allegation, FIR was registered. Only plea raised for grant of pre-arrest bail is that there has been delay in the registration of FIR.
I am not convinced with the plea. In view of nature of allegations, custodial interrogation of the petitioner may be required. Petition is, thus, without any merit and is hereby dismissed.
