CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S. MADAAN Present:- Mr. Ashish Aggarwal, Senior Advocate with Ms. Aashna Aggarwal, Advocate for the petitioner., *** Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner states that application under Section 10 CPC has since been decided by the trial Court, however, the proceedings are going on at a very slow pace there. He submits that he be permitted to withdraw the present revision petition but a direction be issued to the trial Court to expedite the proceedings.
Under the circumstances, the revision petition is dismissed as withdrawn as infructuous. However, since it is stated that the civil suit filed on 21.1.2017 is still pending that means more than six years have elapsed but the proceedings in the suit are statedly at initial stage only. Accordingly, the trial Court is directed to make earnest efforts ensuring that the proceedings in the civil suit are completed expeditiously, preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt of copy of order there.
