The petition in hand has been preferred under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. with the following substantive prayer: 'It is respectfully prayed that the present petition may kindly be allowed and respondent No.1 & 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her son namely Hardeep Singh Cheema from the hands of respondents No. 4 to 6 as well as other officials of respondent No.3, further, direction may kindly be issue to respondent No.3 to produce the son of the petitioner before this Hon'ble Court, who is in illegal detention of respondent No.6 and confined in some unknown place/police station. Further, direction be issue to respondents No.1 & 2 to take necessary legal action against respondent No. 3 to 6 and other officials for violating the order of this Hon'ble Court passed in CRM-M No.20310 of 2016 dated 15.7.2016 (Annexure P-3), in the interest of justice and fair play.' 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner after arguing for sometime has limited his prayer by stating that he would be satisfied, for the nonce, if a direction is issued to Senior Superintendent of Police, Police District ASHWANI KUMAR 2026.03.25 18:11 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned State counsel has urged that he has no objection in case limited prayer made by the petitioner, for decision of her representation dated 23.2.2026 (Annexure P-3), is directed for. 4.
Having heard learned counsel for the rival party(s) and upon perusal of the paper-book, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the petition in hand with the following directions: (i) Senior Superintendent of Police, Police District Khanna, is mandated to look into the representation dated 23.2.2026 (Annexure P-3) moved by the petitioner, objectively consider the grievance(s) raised therein & take ratiocinated decision thereupon within a period of 15 days from today. Said decision be conveyed to the petitioner within 7 days thereafter.
(ii) No order as to costs.
