The petitioners have approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.51 dated 16.4.2020 at Police Station Kulgarhi, District Ferozepur under Sections 452, 323, 506 and 34 of Indian Penal Code.

The learned counsel for the petitioners contends that all the injuries in the present case have been declared as simple injuries and have allegedly been caused on non-vital parts i.e. on hand and elbow. 3.

Bearing in mind the nature and seat of injuries and the fact that the petitioners have since joined investigation, their custodial interrogation is not warranted.
