(ORAL) By way of filing the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C.s, the petitioner/husband seeks quashing of order dated 25.07.2023 (Annexure P-3) passed by the learned Family Court-1, Jalandhar, in case bearing No. MNT 125/360/2022 titled as 'Poonam Gill vs. Rajesh Gill @ Raju etc.', whereby defence of the petitioner has been struck off. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not want to press this petition on merits, at this stage and confines his prayer only to the extent that the petitioner may be granted one opportunity to file written statement/reply to the main petition under Section 125 Cr.P.C. filed by the respondent No. 1-wife. In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Family Court, concerned that the petitioner be granted one effective opportunity to file written statement/reply to the main petition filed by the respondent No. 1/wife under Section 125 RISHU KATARIA 2024.03.22 17:35 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.
