In compliance of order dated 30.05.2023, status report by way of affidavit of Ms. Jasroop Kaur Batth (IPS) ACP Civil Lines Ludhiana, has been filed by learned State counsel on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3 along with Annexures R-1/T to R-3/T in Court today, which is taken on record, wherein, it has been submitted that, in fact, both the petitioners who are minor have returned to their respective homes. The relevant extract is reproduced as under:

"That statement of petitioner Karan has been recoded by the I.O. who stated that he and his friend Mohini voluntarily have gone to pay obeisance at religious places without telling their family members. Due to fear from their parents and other family members, they have filed the present petition in this Hon'ble Court. 2023:PHHC:119917 CRWP-2805-2023 -2wrong with Mohini. Mohini has reached at her house safely. They did not submit any application (Annexure P-3) to the Commissioner of Police Ludhiana. Now they do not want to take action on their application Annexure P-3. True translation copy of Karan is enclosed as Annexure R-2/T". 2.

Moreso, there is no representation on behalf of learned counsel for the petitioners in Court today, despite repeated notices. 3.

In light of the above, nothing survives in the present petition. 4.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of and no further orders are required to be passed.
