The petitioner apprehending arrest in the FIR captioned above, has come up before this Court under Section 438 CrPC seeking anticipatory bail. 2.

Vide order dated 20.03.2024, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and the said order is continuing till date.

Petitioner's counsel submits that custodial interrogation and pre-trial incarceration would cause an irreversible injustice to the petitioner and family. 4.

Status report by way of affidavit has been handed over by the State and the same is taken on record. Counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Harminder Singh, State Vigilance Mohali by making reference to para 10 of the reply dated 03.04.2024, submits that the petitioner had joined the investigation on 28.03.2024 and investigation qua him is completed and challan against him has already been presented, therefore, petitioner's custodial interrogation is not required at this stage.
