Mr. Raj Kumar Arya, Advocate for the petitioner. HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Prayer is for issuance of appropriate directions to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate action against the private respondents.
It is the case of the petitioner that he paid an amount of Rs.3,50,000/- to respondent No.4, who promised to secure a job for the son of the petitioner in the Army. However, neither was he able to secure any job for the son of the petitioner nor has he returned the amount. Moreover, respondent No.4 handed over a cheque of Rs.1 lac to the petitioner as a part payment of the said amount taken by him, however, the cheque was dishonored. When the petitioner approached respondent No.4 to return his money, he warned the petitioner not to meet him again or he would face dire consequences. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 25.2.2019 (P.3) to respondent No.2. It is nowhere mentioned in the petition that the petitioner in the first instance approached respondent No.3Inchage of the local police station. CRM-M-12974 of 2019 #2# Faced with the aforesaid situation, learned counsel undertakes that the petitioner would now move appropriate application before respondent No.3 for redressal of his grievance. Without commenting upon the merits of the case or opining on the veracity of the allegations contained in the representation, this petition is disposed of with the observation that if such a representation is moved by the petitioner before respondent No.3 detailing the facts, the same shall be looked into and appropriate action be taken thereon by respondent No.3 in accordance with law.
