RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) On instructions from ASI Dilbagh Singh, learned State counsel submits that the instant petition has rendered infructuous, in view of the fact that in DDR case No. 36 dated 02.04.2015, under Sections 324, 354, 323, 341, 148 and 149 IPC, [cross-case in FIR No. 44 dated 02.04.2015 (Annexure P-1)] Police Station Mukerian, District Hoshiarpur, recorded by the petitioner, cancellation report has been filed by the police in the concerned Court on 14.09.2018 and notice was issued to the petitioner for her appearance, for today. In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant petition, with liberty to the petitioner to avail alternative remedy before the appropriate forum, in accordance with law.
