AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) Prayer in present writ petition is for issuance of appropriate directions in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to promote the petitioner against vacant post of Senior Librarian in the establishment of Government College Bhiwani.
Petitioner, as per the averments in petition, was last appointed as Junior Librarian vide order dated 4/6.7.2012 in the pay scale of Rs.930034800+G.P.3200 and was posted in Government College, Bhiwani. As per Haryana Education College Cadre Group C (Annexure P-8), he is eligible to the post of Senior Librarian after having rendered 05 (five) years of service as Junior Librarian.
Mr. Ajay Kumar Gupta, learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submitted that there are 67 posts of Senior Librarian, thus, SAVITA KADIAN 2019.07.08 16:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and appraised the paper book. Without commenting upon merit and de-merit of the matter, I deem it appropriate to dispose of writ petition by issuing a direction to respondent no.2-Director General Higher Education Haryana Shiksha Sadan, Panchkula, to decide the representation claiming promotion having fulfilled the requisite conditions in the most pragmatic and reasonable manner after affording the opportunity of hearing to petitioner within a period of two weeks' from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
