CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE INDERJIT SINGH
Present:
Mr.H.S.Batth, Advocate for the petitioner.
**** INDERJIT SINGH, J.
Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.153 dated 27.11.2017 under Section 420, registered at Police Station Goindwal Sahib, District Tarn Taran.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.
From the record, I find that FIR in this case has been registered against the present petitioner for taking `10 lakhs on 24.02.2013 for sending two boys including complainant's son to foreign country. `1,50,000/- was returned and four cheques of `2 lakhs each were also given about three years back, which have been dishonoured. Some more money after that has been returned but some amount still remains to be paid. CRM No.M-24991 of 2018 -2and in view of the serious allegations against the present petitioner, I do not find it a fit case where petitioner is entitled to benefit of anticipatory bail. Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
