(ORAL) After arguing for sometime and realizing that the Court is not inclined to agree with him, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would surrender on or before 17.04.2023. Directions may be issued to the police to ensure that the life and limb of the petitioner is not harmed as he apprehends that he may be eliminated in a false encounter. Thus, the petition is dismissed. It is, however, directed that the police will ensure that no harm comes to the life and limb of the petitioner before he surrenders on or before 17.04.2023.
