Learned State counsel submits that as per his instructions the alleged detenue is a major being 21 years of age and is staying at her current address as per her own free will. Not only that, he further submits that her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. has been recorded before the learned Magistrate, wherein she has unequivocally stated that she is staying with her partner Mandeep Singh @ Makhan at her free will. There is no coercive or illegal detention. 2.

In view of the statement of alleged detenue recorded before the learned Magistrate, the present writ petition is rendered infructuous and is disposed of accordingly.
