(ORAL) The petitioners herein are the father, brother and maternal uncle of Surjit Singh, who are alleged to have kidnapped the prosecutrix resulting in the registration of FIR No. 10 dated 21.01.2018 under Sections 363, 366-A, 120-B IPC, at Police Station Ajnala, District Amritsar. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that subsequent to the anticipatory bail that was allowed to the petitioners, they have joined investigation in the aforesaid Sections and it is thereafter that Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 has been added. He contends that in case the police requires them for investigation, they would associate themselves.

CRM-M-14027-2019 Notice was issued in the said petition under the newly added Section and this Court is informed by Ms. Rajni Gupta, learned Sr. DAG, Punjab, on instructions from ASI Kawarjeet Singh, that challan has been presented after investigation.

In view of the fact that challan stands presented, the order dated 29.03.2019 herein under the newly added Sections is hereby confirmed. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
