Petitioner - Harish Kumar, is present in-person in Court today. 2.

Present petition has been filed by petitioner - Harish Kumar, aged 48 years, father of detenue 'Priya', aged 18 years, for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus, for releasing of his detained daughter 'Priya' from the illegal confinement at the instance of respondents No.4 to 17.

Learned State counsel has filed the status report dated 16.05.2023, by way of affidavit of Asstt. Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana (North), District Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana, on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3, in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Office to tag the same at appropriate place. A copy thereof has been handed over to the counsel for the petitioner.

He submits that he be allowed to withdraw present petition.
