It transpires that the sole petitioner, namely Gurmukh Singh, expired during the pendency of the instant writ petition on 29.01.2019. Thereafter, an application bearing CM No.17872-CWP of 2025 was filed seeking impleadment of the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner; however, the said application was withdrawn, vide order dated 22.12.2025, which reads as under:- "CM-19393-CWP-2025:
Prayer in the present application is for placing on record reply in the shape of affidavit filed on behalf of respondents No.5 to 7 to the application (CM-17872-CWP2025) for impleading the legal representatives of the petitioner.
For the reasons mentioned in the application, reply in the shape of affidavit filed on behalf of respondents No.5 to 7, is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. Application is, accordingly, disposed of.
CM-17872-CWP-2025:
This is an application for impleading the legal representatives of petitioner, who is stated to have expired on 29.01.2019.
Notice in the application was issued on 02.12.2025, whereupon reply on behalf of respondents No.5 to 7 has been filed (in CM-19393-CWP-2025), which has been taken on record.
At the outset, learned counsel for the applicantpetitioner submits that some of the legal representatives of the deceased-petitioner are inadvertently left out, accordingly, he may be permitted to withdraw the instant application with liberty to the applicant to file a fresh one with better
particulars and after impleading all the legal heirs of the deceased - petitioner.
Ordered accordingly.

Prayer in the present application is for placing on record the copy of death certificates dated 29.01.2019 and 27.09.2023 as (Annexures A-1 and A-2) and exemption from filing the certified copies of the same.
At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the instant application.
In view of the above, the present application is dismissed as withdrawn.

A perusal of the file reveals that no fresh application for impleadment of the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner has been filed, despite the matter having been adjourned on the written request circulated on behalf of learned counsel for the petitioner on three successive occasions.

There is a written request for adjournment on behalf of learned arguing counsel for the petitioner.
In view of the written request, adjourned to 17.04.2026. In the meanwhile, order dated 22.12.2025 passed by this Court be complied with."

However, till date, no steps have been taken to comply with the order dated 22.12.2025. Rather, today, learned counsel for the petitioner has appeared and submitted that the sons of the deceased-petitioner (Gurmukh Singh), who claim rights on the basis of a Will in their favour, are not willing to implead all the natural heirs. 6.
