(Oral) A complaint has been received vide email dated 08.05.2020 made by Rajbhr Kaur, wife of Basant Singh, Village Fatehabad, Tehsil Khadaur Sahib, District Tarn Taran. It has been alleged in the complaint that on 06.05.2020, police of CIA Staff, Tarn Taran forcibly picked up his brother Palwinder Singh from parental village Bhail Dye Wala and on the same day, one Jaswant Singh (friend of Palwinder Singh) was also picked up from his home. Today, learned State counsel submitted that he has got an affidavit from DSP Tarn Taran wherein it has been stated that statement of Ajit Singh (father of Palwinder Singh), detenue-Jaswant Singh and Sarpanch-Major Singh of the village has been recorded to the effect that both Palwinder Singh and Jaswant Singh were never forcibly picked up from their house by the CIA Staff and they are staying in the village.

In view of the above affidavit, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.

Disposed of.

However, in the meantime, learned State counsel shall place on record the affidavit of DSP Tarn Taran.
