With the consent of learned counsel representing the parties, the files are taken on the board for final disposal. 2.
On 04.08.2021, the following order was passed:- "The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. Learned State counsel prays for a short adjournment to verify the facts pleaded in CM-778-CI-2021. Adjourned to 09.08.2021.
Learned counsel representing the appellants contends that the land owned by the appellants was acquired vide a notification dated 30.01.1992 under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. He further contends that a coordinate Bench of this Court while deciding a large bunch of appeals vide judgment dated 02.11.2018 has enhanced the market value of the Barani Land with respect to the same
And Four Other Connected Cases notification dated 30.01.1992 from Rs.50,000/- per acre to Rs.90,462/- per acre.
Ms. Sachdeva, AAG, Punjab, is requested to get complete instructions. The concerned Land Acquisition Collector is requested to depute a responsible official for providing assistance to the learned State counsel. A photocopy of this order be placed on the files of the other connected cases".

Ms. Kanica Sachdeva, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, on instructions from Dr.Nidhi, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Dhar Kalan, District Pathankot, has admitted that the case of the appellants, in these five appeals, is squarely covered by the judgment passed in State of Punjab and Others v. Usha Rani (Regular First Appeal No. 1006 of 2010, decided on 02.11.2018). She further added that the market value of the barani land with respect to the same notification dated 30.01.1992 has been enhanced from 50,000/- per acre to ₹ ₹ 90,462/-.

Keeping in view the aforesaid agreement between the parties, the appeals are disposed of in terms of the judgment passed on 02.11.2018 in Regular First Appeal No. 1006 of 2010, decided on 02.11.2018. 5.
The miscellaneous application(s) pending, if any, in the appeals, shall also stand disposed of.
