This is a petition under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking directions to respondent no.2 to get conduct the fair and impartial investigation in FIR No.340 dated 16.11.2024 under Sections 308(2), 351(2), 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (Sections 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) of BNS added later on), registered at Police Station Division No.7, Ludhiana, in time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for some time, seeks to withdraw the petition in hand with liberty to avail alternative remedy(s) as enunciated in law, including approaching the Judicial Magistrate as per BNSS, 2023.
