(Oral) Prayer in the instant petition is made under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for transferring the investigation in case FIR No. 75 dated 27.03.2014, registered at Police Station Chherratta, District Amritsar, under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) to some other independent agency and also to investigate the instant FIR as Police has not registered the case under Section 406 IPC against the accused.

In reply to the petition, the response was filed by the respondent-State by way of affidavit of Assistant Commissioner of Police (Headquarter), Amritsar City and it is stated in paragraph no. 5 of the reply that all the allegations levelled in the application could not be substantiated in the absence of any evidence.
