The petition qua petitioner No.1 Puran Singh stands dismissed as withdrawn.

Allegations against petitioner No.2 Sonu, a young boy aged around 20 years, in this petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail in case FIR No.11 dated 03.03.2015 registered at Police Station Jind District GRP Ambala Cantt. under Sections 3048 B/4988A IPC, are that he happens to be the brother8in8law (husband's RATTAN PAL SINGH 2015.09.29 09:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court





 younger brother) of the deceased Sonia who was married to the principal accused Surinder and had committed suicide before a running train after seven months of her marriage on the allegations of demand of dowry and cruelty by the in8laws Contentions of the learned counsel for the petitioners Mr.R.N. Lohan, Advocate that petitioner No.2 Sonu is an unmarried young boy and has not been assigned any specific role in the FIR nor is likely to be the beneficiary of this marriage and is in custody since 19.03.2015 and which though has been sought to be opposed with much vehemence by learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Ramphal, Police Station GRP Jind.

However, having regard to the fact that the culpability, if any, shall be determined at the time of trial and there is no specific role assigned to petitioner No.2 Sonu in either demand of dowry, cruelty or harassment together with the fact that trial will take a long time to conclude, this Court is of the opinion that further detention of petitioner No.2 Sonu in the present case is not warranted. Accordingly, he is ordered to be released on regular bail to the satisfaction of trial Court.
