The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 29.01.2026 passed by this Court in CWP-2536-2024, whereby following order was passed by this Court:- "

Learned proxy counsel for respondents No.2 & 3 at the outset submits that the present civil writ petition has become infructuous. The petitioner as well as respondent No.4 would be considered for promotion strictly in terms of the applicable rules and needful be done within a period of 08 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for respondents No.2 & 3, the present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.

Needless to say, in case respondents No.2 & 3 deviates from the statement made before this Court, the petitioner would be at liberty to file an appropriate application under Article 215 of the Constitution of India VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2026.03.11 19:23 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Mr. Sanjeev Kaushik, Advocate, has put in appearance and filed his Vakalatnama on behalf of the respondents. He submits that the period of 08 weeks granted by this Court has not yet elapsed and that the process for compliance of the order dated 29.01.2026 passed by this Court has already been initiated.

In view of the above, the present contempt petition is dismissed as the same is pre-mature at this stage.
