In terms of this report that as a result of enquiry conducted by Sh. Gurnam Singh SP(HQ) Tarn Taran, an application moved by Ms. Kuldeep Kaur, he has arrived at the conclusion that death of Jeena Singh took place as a result of drowning in pound and Dalbir Singh has no role with regard to his death. In that way, a cancellation report with respect to F.I.R. in question has been recommended which has been moved by SSP Tarn Taran on 18.01.2018. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Balbir Singh states that in view of the situation explained in the written reply, petitioner is not required to be arrested by the police at this stage. However, if at any subsequent stage, any necessity arises of petitioner being arrested then 7 days advance notice would be given to him.
