Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of FIR No.115 dated 19.06.2007, under Sections 452, 323 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC' for short) registered at Police Station City Barnala, District Barnala and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise.

Heard.

Petitioners had faced trial in FIR No.115 dated 19.06.2007. Trial Court vide judgment dated 28.04.2014,

Against the said judgment, State has filed an appeal and same is pending before the Appellate Court. However, now parties have amicably settled their dispute as it is stated to be a case of version and cross version.

Accordingly, this petition is disposed of with a direction that the Appellate Court shall take into consideration the factum of compromise effected between the parties while deciding the State appeal.
