Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioners for seeking directions to respondent No.2 to take action against respondents No. 4 to 17.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contended that petitioners are in established possession of land and even possession was taken on 26.10.2016 vide Rapat Roznamcha and still respondents No. 4 to 13 committed theft of crop but the police is not taking any action as they are having political support and the representations (Annexures P7 & P8), filed by the petitioners, remained unattended before the authorities. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and perusal of record, respondent No.2-Director General of Police, Punjab, is directed to look into the representations (Annexures P7 & P8) and take required action, if any, as per law.
