G.S.SANDHAWALIA, J. (Oral) In the present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners seek directions to provide protection to the life and liberty from the private respondents No. 4 to 14, who are relatives of petitioner No.1 on account of their marriage which has taken place on 02.06.2018 as per Hindu Religious Rites. The marriage photographs and marriage certificate are appended as Annexures P-3 and P-4.

The petitioners are stated to be major, as the date of birth of petitioner No.1 is of the year 1996 as per Aadhar card (Annexure P-1) and the date of birth of petitioner No. 2 is of the year 1992 as per Aadhaar Card (Annxure P-2). It is stated that petitioner no. 1 belongs to Punjabi Khatri Caste and petitioner no. 2 belongs to Balmiki community and it is an inter caste marriage.

A representation dated 02.06.2018 (Annexure P-5) has also been filed with respondent No.2 in this regard. Notice of motion.

Ms. Palika Monga, DAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of

Accordingly, keeping in view the fact that the petitioners have got married and in view of the binding precedent of the Hon'ble Apex Court in Lata Singh Vs. State of U.P. and another 2006(2) SCC (Criminal) 478, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2 to look into the above said representation filed by the petitioners and take appropriate action in accordance with law and provide protection, if so required.
