Learned State counsel, on instructions from HC Manjit Singh, from Police Station Kalayat, District Kaithal, states that the petitioner has since joined the investigation and has been found to be innocent as a result of investigation, which has been carried out so far. Therefore, he is not required to be arrested by the local police in this case and if, at any stage, he is required to be arrested, then 7 days prior notice, in writing, would be given to him. On hearing this statement, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he be permitted to withdraw the present petition at this stage. Allowed.
